Carbon Steel Rebar

Rebar for reinforced concrete serves as straight or coil-shaped steel used to reinforce concrete structures. It comes in two primary shapes: smooth round steel bars and deformed steel bars, and can be delivered in straight lengths or coils. Smooth round steel bars are essentially small round steel bars and coils made from ordinary low-carbon steel. On the other hand, deformed bars are characterized by surface-ribbed texture, often featuring two longitudinal ribs and evenly distributed transverse ribs along their length. The transverse ribs can have spiral, herringbone, or crescent shapes. The nominal diameter of deformed bars corresponds to the nominal diameter of smooth round bars with the same cross-section. Rebar typically comes in nominal diameters ranging from 8 to 50 mm, with recommended diameters being 8, 12, 16, 20, 25, 32, and 40 mm. 
Various steel grades are available for rebar, including 20MnSi, 20MnV, 25MnSi, and BS20MnSi. These types of rebar are essential components in reinforced concrete structures, enhancing their strength and durability to withstand various loads and stresses.
